There is No Place Like Home
In the classic movie, "The Wizard of Oz" ends with Dorothy's enthusiastic words, "There's no place like home!" Part of the message of this movie is that no matter how dull home, friends and family may seem--no matter if we feel unheard or unseen sometimes--life isn't always better in technicolor, so to speak.
Sometimes that's true. And sometimes it's not. How do we know when it's time to leave the security of our "black and white" spirituality behind, and travel the exciting--and yes, challenging yellow brick road of a technicolor spirituality?
