Do Ask, Do Tell

June is Pride Month. It is a time when the LGBTQIA+ communities across the country host festive parades, celebrating advances in equality, and reminding us there is more work to be done in the journey toward equitable treatment for LGBTQIA+ folks. While some people don’t understand the need for these events, it is only through visibility and education that such advances are possible.

Here's a question: How many of us in Unity and New Thought are closeted about our spirituality? How many of us downplay our spirituality and all that is good about us in order to keep the peace with those who don’t understand our paths?

Is it time, perhaps, for us to “come out” spiritually?
