Simple Yoga and Meditation Practice

Experience a beautiful yoga and meditation practice and development a healthy balance between the inner and the outer world. 

For 1 hour, students will be offered guidance and instruction on how to build your own yoga/meditation practice.

During the 30 minute meditation practice, we will work with four basic techniques:

  • breathing

  • guided/imagery

  • introspection

  • silence meditation

During the 30 minute yoga practice, students will learn gentle techniques to increase movement. You can practice on your own mat or in a chair, depending on your mobility. The movements will be adapted to the group's pace.

Love Offering

Lydia Garcia is a Yoga teacher of the Kripalu lineage.  Her practice is Power yoga, Pranayamas, and Meditation.   She has studied under great teachers, including Roy Eugene Davis, direct disciple of Paramahansa Yogananda, and Ron Lindahn.   In her professional life, Lydia is an operating room nurse and an Army Veteran. Her love for the silence experiences began when she was about 12 years of age. She was a track runner, played music, was an intense ocean/waterfalls/sunrise gazer, and very introverted. Silence came naturally, and she found solace and comfort there.  Lydia says, "For me, yoga is the perfect balance between body, mind, and spirit as One.  I will be honored to share it with you."
