Rev. Steve Bolen began serving in Unity ministries in 1984.
He graduated from Lander University in 1968 and after completing a tour in the U.S. Navy, he began what would become a successful career in the corporate world in sales and sales management.
Having been raised in the study of metaphysics and mysticism, when he found Unity in the early 1980s, he intuitively knew it was the spiritual path that he was to take. Over the next twenty years, Rev. Bolen served Unity churches in Tennessee, Arizona and Georgia before receiving the call to Unity Church of the Hills in Austin, Texas where he served as Senior Minister from 2007 to 2017. He recently was named Minister Emeritus there.
Rev. Steve brings a message of hope and healing, teaching the unconditional love of God for all of us and the power of forgiveness in bringing that love to our awareness allowing our unique expressions of God to come forth to bless the world.
Over the course of his career in ministry, he has served as President of the Unity Ministers of the Mid-Atlantic States and with his beloved wife, Mary, sat on the Advisory Council of the Association for Global New Thought. He has been recognized by the Board of Preachers of The Martin Luther King Chapel at Morehouse College and cited for his leadership in the Interfaith community of Central Texas.
Rev. Steve and Mary now live in Georgia where they have four children and nine grandchildren.
