Unity Peace Flag project
Unity of Gainesville, inspired by James Twyman (Peace Troubadour), created our Peace Ministry. Our first project was to reach out to churches and groups to produce Peace Flags. This project caught on and received attention from the media. Hundreds of flags were created by churches and groups from all denominations.
The Peace Flags debuted at our celebration of Unity’s World Day
of Prayer -24 Hours of Prayer
Vigil. We hold a Peace
Ceremony on the grounds which
is followed by a peace concert.
