Our mission statement affirms that we are a center for spiritual unfoldment. With that purpose in mind, we offer a variety of classes and workshops in support of unfolding at every level of being: body, mind and spirit. Unity creates an affirming environment that fosters positive self-image, personal responsibility, and unconditional love and acceptance.
Our Adult Education classes include everything from Bible Studies, classes on nutrition and healing, prosperity, and our ongoing commitment to non-violence through the study of Non-Violent Communication - A Language of Compassion based on the book of the same name by Marshall Rosenberg.
At different times throughout the year we also have guest workshop leaders in the New Thought movement that visit our church. Workshop leaders over the past years have included Dr. Will Tuttle, Rev. Joyce Rennolds, Lauren Lane Powell, Edwene Gaines, Colin Tipping and Dr. Rocco Errico.
Classes offered by Rev. Sydney Magill-Lindquist are offered as credit classes through Unity School. Other classes by other facilitators and teachers are based on special interests. These include chakra healing, Shamanic drumming, astrology and even numerology.
